Jouko Oksanen, Group IT manager

-I joined Efore about 15 years ago. I attended a course where Efore trained electronic workers to it´s factory in Saarijärvi. I was told by my friends that Efore´s business was growing fast and the company already then had a good reputation. After my studies (Economics and IT) I worked in sales duties before joining Efore.

I started at Efore as a production worker which gave me great experience and understanding of our core functions and our customers´ needs. I had IT education and I “luckily” opened my mouth in a right place to our former IT Manager who immediately recruited me to our IT department. After that I have been working as IT-support, IT System specialist and now as Group IT Manager. As Group IT Manager I am responsible for developing and maintaining Efore´s global IT infrastructure and processes. I have got all the training needed to develop myself in my present position.

If I would describe with one word what kind of workplace Efore is, the word would most probably be “dynamic”. Situations change rather fast in global working and business environment and so must we too.
