TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE OF EFORE’S IMAGE GALLERY
1. Scope of application and commitment to the terms and conditions
These terms and conditions are applied to the use of of Efore’s image gallery ("the Service").
In the event of any discrepancies between the different language versions of these terms and conditions, the Finnish version shall prevail.
2. Preconditions for the use of the Service
The Person may use a picture of the Service only in a context which is appropriately related to Efore’s business and in such a manner that the publication of the image does not violate the rights pursuant to the Section 3 of the Copyright Act.
The person using the Service publishes the picture at his or her own risk.
3. Intellectual property rights
The proprietary right, copyright and all other intellectual property rights to the photographs and to Efore’s logo belong to Efore or a third party.
Without a written permission given in advance by Efore, the user of the image archive must not in any respect edit or modify, such as manipulate or distort, the pictures of the Service. Activities related to improving the quality of the pictures, such as sharpening of the picture and removing dust from images, or cropping of images, are not considered forbidden acts of editing or modifying.
Exploitation and making use of the Service as such or even partly for purposes other than those referred to in these terms and conditions is forbidden.
Efore is not responsible for any hindrance, delay or faultiness in the Service or in services provided by or used through the image archive, or for indirect loss or damage caused by the failure of the Identifier used in the Service or by other features of it affecting the use of the Service. Such indirect loss or damage includes loss of income or earnings, interest loss, loss of profit, reduction in business or business interruption, realised or unrealised agreement between the customer and a third party or other demands presented to the customer by a third party.
